Entrepreneurship student Alice Margetson takes part in 100 minds initiative

Alice Margetson is an IADT student studying the Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship and will participating in the 100minds initiative to raise funds for Barnardos and Blossom Ireland this January.
100minds is a volunteer-run, non profit organisation founded by Declan Egan in 2013, that brings together some of Ireland’s top students and connects them with one cause to achieve big goals in a short space of time by challenging each student to raise €1000 each in a creative and entrepreneurial way.
The 100minds objective is to achieve positive impact within society “by focusing on one big problem at a time”. This year the total fundraising target is €150,000.
To date Alice has raised €1015 for the 100minds initiative organising a variety of fundraising activities including a recent event which saw local children participate in a 'by children for children' initiative to create a Christmas decoration in aid of 100minds.
Alice will further contribute to her fundraising target by taking on the challenge to not talk for 24 hours on the 20th January 2015 at 9am. The fundraising campaigns is called: Alice in Silentland "Chatterbox gone silent for 24 hours". According to Alice “it’s going to be a big challenge for someone who likes to talk as much as me!”. Fundraising ends on the 27thFebruary.
