DL801 - Bachelor of Business (honours) in Entrepreneurship
As mature student who wanted to go back to education I would highly recommend this course. The course is exceptionally good and challenging with excellent lecturers who create a very engaging lecture time. This is due to the mix of power point, video and practical elements during lecture times.
I really appreciate the supportive learning environment that I experience during my time at IADT. The mix of course work gives me a fantastic opportunity to learn the key concepts of business and to help me decide whether to work in business or become an entrepreneur.
DL823, Year 3 - Bachelor of Business (honours) in Entrepreneurship and Management
The first time I stepped into IADT at the student open day, I knew that this was the course I wanted to study after my leaving cert. The course is hands on and very practical, there is a great mix of modules that change over the course of the 4 years. Some of these include: entrepreneurial learning and practice, marketing, law, data management, economics, placement and many more. The course really focusses on innovation and creativity and there is great support and resources for student entrepreneurs.
Myself and my fellow class mate and friend Grace O’Sullivan set up an online jewellery boutique, Glitz N’ Pieces, in our first year at IADT in connection with the stalls project. If it wasn’t for IADT we would not have had an opportunity like this. The entire faculty have been so accommodating in helping us with anything we needed to know about starting and running a business. We are constantly learning about Glitz N’ Pieces and finding out new ways to approach different situations through the modules we study.
There is something for everyone in this course and certainly at IADT.
DL701, Year 3 - Bachelor of Business in Applied Entrepreneurship
I am currently in my final year of Applied Entrepreneurship. Having struggled in school with dyslexia, I never thought I would make it through college. Since joining IADT I have gained confidence in my ability to succeed. IADT offers small classes, interactive lectures and practical modules.
My course provides useful skills by integrating practical modules such as enterprise practice, basic coding, data management, innovation and marketing. Third year is based around a social enterprise project. As part of a team, we plan, manage and implement our own social enterprises. These modules are essential in today's job market.
IADT is a small college and getting involved in campus life is hugely beneficial. This year I was elected President of the Enterprise Society, team leader for Enactus IADT and 100minds campus Ambassador. By getting involved, I have made great friends from different courses and further developed my entrepreneurial skills which has given me a competitive edge when applying for jobs.

DL701, Year 1 - Bachelor of Business in Applied Entrepreneurship
First year Business and Entrepreneurship in IADT is an experience and a half. From making new friends to carrying out the stalls project it is an amazing course to do. I came in here not knowing anyone and now at the start of my second term I have made lots of new friends. The course itself is fun interesting and interactive as 80% of the course is continuous assessment. I have loved this course so much that I have worked at two open days. One of the interesting parts of the course is learning accounting through Monopoly. There is a lot of group assessments in this course and it involves a lot of peer learning. Through the college even in first year they have made it very easy for me to envision my future career after college by providing career talks and giving us students the opportunity to speak to people in careers that could potentially ours one day. I am also on the board of the Enterprise Society and that has given me an even deeper insight to the business world. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in going into the corporate world.
