Our students are studying Business and Entrepreneurship. We offer the following degrees: a Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship (DL701); a Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship and Management (DL823); a one year add-on Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship (DL801).
The teaching approach on these degrees is applied. We develop opportunities for students to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real world contexts. Students will do a range of applied projects such as running market stalls, developing social enterprise ideas, identifying new business opportunities, analysing business problems and working for a time in companies. This gives them a feel for the complexity of running a business. They get opportunities to work with others and enhance their teamwork skills. They are encouraged to integrate content from different subjects and provided with opportunities to develop their social and professional networks. There is a strong focus on the development of transferrable skills that are relevant to the modern business world as either an entrepreneur or as an employee.
This site showcases the work and experiences of students and graduates from all of our degrees.
